SAM MCMURRAY

Sam McMurray is an American actor whose career has spanned more than five decades across film, television, and voice acting. He is best known for his recurring roles as dentist Vic Schweiber on Freaks and Geeks, Supervisor Patrick O'Boyle on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens, Trent Culpepper on the ABC comedy Cristela, and for voicing Roy Hess in the sitcom Dinosaurs. McMurray also played Doug, Chandler Bing's boss, on Friends, and later portrayed Ned on the CBS sitcom Mom.

A prolific character actor, McMurray has appeared in numerous films, including Raising Arizona, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, The Wizard, L.A. Story, Addams Family Values, Drop Dead Gorgeous, C.H.U.D., and Getting Even with Dad.

On television, he was a featured cast member on The Tracey Ullman Show and has made memorable guest appearances in series such as The Simpsons (as the show's first guest star), Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Home Improvement, The Golden Girls, Married... with Children, Malcolm in the Middle, The Fosters, Law & Order, NCIS, and General Hospital. He has also enjoyed an extensive voice acting career, lending his voice to series including The Simpsons, Recess, Batman: The Animated Series, Hey Arnold!, and The Tick.
