SAVANNAH LEE NASSIF
Savannah Lee Nassif (professionally credited in much of her work as Savannah Lee May) is an American actress, singer, dancer, and choreographer who has become known for her performances in family and teen-oriented television and film productions. Born on August 12, 2000, in Houston, Texas, Nassif has built a versatile career across television, streaming platforms, and feature films, earning recognition for her charisma, comedic timing, and musical talents.
Nassif first gained attention through guest appearances on popular youth-focused television series, including the Nickelodeon comedy series School of Rock (2017), Disney Channel's Bizaardvark (2018), and Nickelodeon's Cousins for Life (2019). Her breakthrough came when she was cast as Buttercup, a recurring member of the elite knight-in-training squad in the Nickelodeon fantasy-comedy series Knight Squad (2018–2019). The role showcased her ability to blend comedy, action, and energetic character work, helping establish her as a rising talent in children's television.
She achieved wider international recognition in 2020 with her portrayal of Carrie Wilson in the Netflix musical comedy-drama Julie and the Phantoms. As the ambitious and often antagonistic lead singer of the rival band Dirty Candy, Nassif delivered one of the series' standout performances, combining strong vocal abilities, stage presence, and dramatic flair. The series developed a devoted fan following and remains one of her most recognized roles.
In 2026, Nassif joined the cast of the rebooted horror-comedy franchise Scary Movie, directed by Michael Tiddes. The film marked the return of franchise stars Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Marlon Wayans, and Shawn Wayans, while introducing a new generation of characters. Nassif portrays Tuesday Campbell, the daughter of Cindy Campbell, one of the franchise's central protagonists. The character serves as part of the film's younger ensemble and functions as a comedic parody inspired by contemporary horror and pop-culture trends, including references to the popularity of Wednesday. The film follows the return of a masked killer connected to events from the original movies, bringing together both legacy characters and a new generation of potential victims in classic Scary Movie fashion.
